Bio

Maria grew up playing the violin and piano. She completed her studies at the University of Calgary and has studied with Lise Elson, Cenek Vrba, Edmond Agopian and also acquired her ARCT certification. She has performed concerts, festivals, and public functions throughout Canada, the United States and Europe. Maria has earned praise from appreciative fans for her passionate renditions of a wide variety of music styles, both as a fine soloist and chamber musician. Also prominent as an educator, clinician and adjudicator, Maria continues to make a valuable and ongoing contribution to the cultural life of Alberta.
